Ali,
So sorry that I never called you a few weeks back. Life has been throwing me through the ringer for the past month or so, just trying to pull myself out! I would really love to catch up. I think that I have your phone number so I will cal you a little later this afternoon. Mine is 206 963 4756, feel free to call me any time.
So stoked that you have put together this resource. I think that you are on the right track focusing it on training, it is very important part of climbing which I think is sometimes lost on folks first getting into it. For me being exposed to things like endurance circuit training really opened a lot of doors in terms of what I was able to do. I would love to share some of that with this site. We can talk about what your looking for on here and if you like I can write some stuff up...
Let me know next time you guys want to go somewhere. I'm free most weekends and I'm sure that my roommate would like to come this time. Don't forget that you can still take me up on the painting offer in exchange for a yummy dinner! haha Hope to talk to you soon.
Hey Ali, thanks for letting me be a part of this Mt. Hood expedition - this will be my first major hike out in the Pac NW and I'm really excited for the challenge. I've been getting in as many hikes as possible in the Seattle area over the weekends to keep my legs in good shape, so I think I'll be well prepared when it comes time. I'm sure we'll all be in closer touch as the hike approaches, and I'll remember to shoot you a message on here if there are further questions. Unfortunately I'll be tied up the weekend of that training session, so hopefully I can do a crash course at the base of Mt. Hood once we get there and still be okay. Until then, take care!
Hi Ali
Thanks for your comment

Thanks for the nice welcome! That is not a picture of Shasta, a mere 2, 100 hill in Fremont, CA. Mission Peak. It was a training hike. I appreciate the offer to post my "Climb For Hope 2011" to benefit 100% the Children's Hunger Fund. This will help starving and impoverished children from around the world. I have a goal of $5,000 and every little bit helps. I will be climbing Mt. Rainer in August 2011. Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know the FitClimb community better in the coming months/years. Best regards. Mark Rickert
Thank you so very much for your nice and inspiring comment. To be honest I am just starting my climbing life, I will start my basic mountaineering training in coming September. However mountains are my passion. I love the Himalayas. I would like to be touch with you. I hope it will help me in many ways. Thanks once again. Hasan from Bangladesh.
Thank you very much for allowing me to joint fitclimb, it is my honor to joint fitclimb.
