Learn how to build a snow cave for survival situations. We'll start at Stevens Pass ski area parking and snowshoe up to skyline lake about 1 mile (mostly on a groomed road) area where Ali will demonstrate snow cave construction techniques. After you'll split in 2 person teams and build your own snow cave. Other topics include snowshoeing, water in cold enviornments, and a firecraft demo in the snow to help you stay warm at lunch time. Cost is $100 Per person, children under 12 with a parent free. Transportation not provided, will provide carpool help and detailed gear list to all who RSVP.
