Expedition Pack - Rainier to Denali - Recomendations Needed

I'm looking at large packs and leaning toward the Gregory Whitney so far. My main criteria is comfort and fit.  5,000 cu in min. & 70lb max cap, quality hipbelt, comfort/fit, utility. I'm willing to pay for the best alpine pack I can get.

I sure would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Recommending specific packs is tough becasue everyone is different.

You may have done this already. Develop a list of packs that fit your criteria for what you want in a pack. Then go try on as many of them as you can find with 70 lbs. in them. You'll determne pretty quickly which ones are more comfortable than the others. I've been pretty surprised at how differently they can all fit.

I've gone to several different stores in the past and had them get down every pack they had that I was looking at. You're going to be spending some money so put them to work ;)

Cheers!
