Short Bio, outdoor experience, or Share something with the group.: I grew up in Alaska where I spend all of my free time telemark skiing and backpacking the backcountry. Generally my ascents have been on smaller mountains topping out at 7,000 feet. I have also spent time guiding sea kayak trips in Katchemak bay, which opened up some new areas of exploration and sparked ideas for new trips. Since moving to the midwest I have been doing small route rock climbing and have been wanting to get into better shape for making some ski mountaineering ascents this winter.
