Short Bio, outdoor experience, or Share something with the group.: Hello, my childhood history has been that of your average american child living in the city, not really exposed to the outdoors. My outdoor vacations took place in the backyard of my grandmothers house in Puerto Rico. It wasn't I was 15 yrs of age, a priest by the name of Father Robert Cormier (I called him father Bob), may he rest in peace, introduced me to my first official hike and even then I didn't know what hiking was but it felt really good and peaceful and it was heaven for me. It wasn't until I met my husband that I then really began hiking and learning so much and still thirsty for more. So every week I make it my mission to hike another piece of park when I can, I also enjoying indoor rock climbing to prepare for outdoor rock climbing and I have already begun hiking and snow shoeing in hopes to hopefully go mountaineering soon!!!! Everyday is another world another great journey for me and I look forward to more days to come..
