- I'm relatively new to backpacking and have an insatiable thirst for knowledge on anything outdoor, particularly hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, and leadership in these fields. I've been a participant and a leader for various trips up to 5 days. I live in upstate NY, but am currently studying in Tasmania for the semester. Right now I am training for a solo through hike of the Colorado Trail this summer.
