- I have been climbing and hiking since I entered the Army in 1984. I was stationed in Alaska for several years and actually was sent to the military mountaineering course while there. Want to train to start climbing again more seriously and want to try and get Kilimanjaro and Elbrus done while over here along with others in the alps and pyrenees while I am here.
