Short Bio, outdoor experience, or Share something with the group.: Grew up on a farm and then moved to town. Our family then built a cottage on a small lake near Traverse City and we spent all summers outside. Then when I became an empty nest Mom I want to be in the wilderness each early summer. I meet a lady hiking friend and she taught me how to hike and love it. We did a converted railroad hike. We did multiple trips to Buffalo River trails in AR. We did the Grand Canyon, then Utah, the the White mountains in AZ.
