- Iam climbing Mt. Whitney on Oct.11,2021. My 3 grown daughters are joining me. I have no mountain climbing experience. But, I have completed numerous triathlons including 2 half ironman. Rode my bike across NY and Ohio. I have mental toughness and determination and understand preparation. This most of all this will be a climb of emotion, We are climbing to the 1969 crash site of my Parents and Aunt and Uncle plane. God Bless.
