Climbing in the Olympic Mountains in january

A friend and I climbed the Brothers in the Olympic Mountains this July and we wanted to do the same thing this January. Neither of us have much experience with winter mountaineering and I was wondering if anyone had climbed the Brothers (or any mountains in the Olympics) during the winter. If the Brothers isn't feasible is there another awesome climb we could do during the winter in western Washington?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Oh wow all that sounds fantastic! Thanks a lot, I'll have to look into St. Helens, i hadn't even considered it. I'll also check out Dickerman, because I've never even heard of it. And thanks for the reference, i'll contact him and see what he has to say.

My recommendation is to go for Mt. St. Helens. Just gotta watch the cornice at the crater rim. Otherwise I'd recommend Dickerman. You might want to send a message to FitClimb member Tony DiBenedetto who has lots of experience in the Olympics and has even written a guide book. Stay tuned I'm putting together an overnight winter skills trip with member Graham in Feb that might interest you.
