Cassin Ridge, Denali - Livingstone/Ripley

Great Video, In July 2012, Tom Livingstone and Tom Ripley made a 2 day ascent of the Cassin Ridge on the South Face of Denali. This is perhaps the youngest British ascent.

The pair spent 5 weeks in the Alaskan Mountains, climbing a number of routes in the Kahiltna Glacier basin, before moving to 14,000ft Camp on Denali. They intended to attempt a new route on the Father & Son Wall, a subsidiary face of Denali, but unfortunately did not.

Tom and Tom are indebted to the following organisations; without their support the expedition would not have taken place.

Financial Support from: BMC , Mount Everest Foundation and Welsh Sports Association.

Equipment was supplied by: Anatom, Cotswold Outdoor, First Ascent and Mountain Equipment.
