- I am 69 years old, live in Georgia, and have 3 children. Have hiked the AT in 1976 and in the last 10 years have been up Rainier 4 times, summitting once. My kids now want to do another adventure, all of us climbing Rainier or Kilimanjaro to name two. Am looking for a workout plan which will enable me to not be "that guy". Planning to train for a year prior. Cheers
